Kevin was above all very professional in dealing with us and potential buyers, though he always represented us in the proceedings. He understood the local market very well and could clearly describe his thoughts concerning the pricing and sale of our home. Kevin also relayed his opinions about how best to prepare the home for visits. Often times selling agents do not open the house for visits, leaving it to the buying agent to unlock and turn on lights for their clients. But we lived out of town, so Kevin made sure to be available for opening the home for potential buyers (and their agents.) This also made it possible for him to explain pertinent details about the yard and house that otherwise may not have been understood if he had not been on site at the time. It also ensured that the home would be properly closed down (lights, faucets, toilets, locks, etc.) after each visit. Finally, Kevin made his thoughts known during the negotiation process, which was important for two reasons. The first is, it is hard to reign in personal feelings concerning the worth of your own home, and Kevin firmly but politely kept us grounded. Secondly, he kept us from under selling our home once we got close to a sale, saving us a few thousand dollars. And finally, not only was Kevin professional and quite capable in his profession, he was also very personable and easy to talk and communicate with, which again helped us get through the entire process, which can at times tax even the best of us.
